The ceremony was heartfelt and simple, reflecting Robert and Janet's personalities perfectly. The reception that followed at the Drury Plaza Hotel was a beautiful celebration with lively dancing, heartfelt joy, and a surprise group photo of all the guests. Capturing that moment was such a unique challenge—it's not every day you get to photograph everyone at a wedding in one shot!

After the ceremony, we rushed downtown to capture some unforgettable couple and bridal party portraits. Cape Girardeau's iconic clocktower and Themis street were the perfect backdrops for their photos, adding a touch of local charm.
One of my favorite shots from the day was when Robert and Janet stood under Janet's veil, the lace and mesh floating beautifully above them as they shared a quiet, romantic moment. It was like time stood still for just a second—pure magic.
Another highlight was their fun bridal party shot on the steps leading to City Hall. The groomsmen and bridesmaids pretended to pull Robert and Janet in opposite directions—a playful nod to the excitement and chaos of wedding days.
